How do I know if I need vaccinations for travel?
You can visit the NHS fit for travel website for up-to-date information www.fitfortravel.nhs
The Foreign Office also provides useful advice www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice
How do I access the Travel Health Service?
If you think you might need vaccinations, please complete our Travel Questionnaire (also available from reception) and hand to reception for the nurse to review. We will then contact you to arrange an appropriate appointment with the nurse. Please bring any documents you may have about previous vaccinations with you when you come to see the nurse.
Please ensure you hand your travel form in at the earliest opportunity and at least 6-8 weeks before your departure date. We understand travel plans are sometimes made at the last minute. We have limited travel health appointment slots and there is sometimes a wait for an appointment during busy periods. In addition, some vaccinations need to be administered as part of a course and often single dose vaccines take 2 weeks to become fully effective.
Please see our list of fees for vaccines which are not available under the NHS
